Grow a Little Fruit Tree: Quince watercolour, pen and ink, digital collage
Ann Ralph is a fruit tree specialist. Her debut book Grow a Little Fruit Tree reveals pruning techniques that create smaller fruit trees. These trees then require less space and care but still produce a bountiful harvest –perfect for small gardens and courtyards.
GALFT was such a wonderful project to work on with an amazingly talented art team; Mary Velgos –Art Direction and Lana Lê –Graphic Design. I illustrated twelve chapter titles and some interior spots. My illustrations were created using watercolour, pen and ink, digital pencil, paper and fabric collage, all collated in Adobe Photoshop. The chapter title lettering was lovingly hand-painted by Lana.
